A lot of the posts in this section seem to mention BT!
Does anyone know a direct contact number for or the right way through the phone system to speak to somebody about reducing my monthly Direct Debit amount, and also possibly claiming back a £45 credit balance on my account?
I've just tried numerous times but every time seem to end up at an automated message.

Just checked BT's website and 0800 443 311 is the number for payments, direct debts, etc.We could all learn a little something from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.0

Being a BT customer I assume you must have at least their Unlimited Weekend Plan. If so, you can use 0179 359 0308. This has always worked in the past and is answered by a BT representative.Disclaimer

Hi Dan_Bailey,
As gandalf-2009 said, you can change your direct debit by registering for eBilling (or logging on if you are already registered) at http://www.bt.com/business/youraccount, where you will also be able to view your bills online.
I can also have a look at your account, if you want drop me a PM and I will be in touch.
All the best,
Stephanie
