I have never done it at Lidl so do not know if they will do it but at my local Aldi I have paid in advance for a SPECIAL on a few occasions and had it put on one side to be picked up on the sale day !

Our local Lidl are having a Car Park Sale in the morning (Tuesday) I'm told that the bargains are well worth the time and effort, so I'm hoping to pop along after the school run to see what's what.

As it was last Tuesday it wouldn't really help to know where it was, would it? ;)
Thanks to all who post constructively.

  • Unable to get the breadmaker in our Lidl. They said there was a fault with it so they had not received any.

There was a post on Old Style this morning to say that they had been recalled.

    Lidl breadmaker special

£109 for a 300GB External Hard drive sounds reasonable to me. Available from 03.04.06.

Anyone recommend or buy a 'Targa' hard drive last time they were around ?

hi im a duty manager at a lidl near birmingham...
most stores now open at 8am and close at 8pm and special days (mondays and thursdays) have people queuing at the door before the staff even get there!
electrical items go super quick so well worth getting there for opening.
head office wont allow us to put things by or let you have them early as they dont appear on the system until after close down the night before - but if you a regular face management will sometimes do it if they in a good mood!
not sure what the problem with the bread maker was and all the scales went within half an hour of opening at the store i work this morning.
from past experience i think the comp equipment will be just the same for high sales volume. if its over £60 we dont always have the item displayed on the shop floor so always ask :)
if you think its a bargain - its likely other people do too!!
i feel bad for the people who have to work during the day cause they always missing out on the bargains :(
  • Just bizarre...

Found out today that they have restocked all of the fishing gear they were selling last year.

Er, could someone point out to them that the fishing season finished 2 weeks ago and doesn't restart until June 15th?

Yes, yes, we know there are some places you can still fish, but really????

Now if they were to bring all this kit out in the beginning of June, it would fly out of the stores within minutes!
The smaller the monkey the more it looks like it would kill you at the first given opportunity.
