A&L PPI claim HELP NEEDED!!!

I sent a letter asking A&L for copies of my loan agreement which I took out around 6yrs ago and finally paid it off 2yrs ago, I sent this letter on 6th of April 09, and I still havent had a response!
Can anyone advise me on what to do next?

was this a cca request ? did you enclose £1? did you send it registered if so was it signed for? they only have 12 days to respond to a proper cca request , so sending another letter demand action and compliance from them. send the new letter recorded , if they fail to respond at all the you'll have to register a formal complaint to them ,they will have 8 weeks to reply at which time you cam go to the ombudsman

Hi there as Russ says a payment of £1 postal order or cheque payment should normally be enclosed with the request, and with that they should comply by 12 days.
If you have done this already with the payments, then you could contact the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) to ask if they can chase them up for you, but other than that, do you know for definate they received the letter? (by posting by recorded delivery), where you can check the delivery out on the Royal mail website "tracking".
