A neighbour is asking... she has a standard sky box, and has been offered a sky+ box, she wants to know if this will work with her card. ??

the short answer is no you need an extra cable for sky plus.0

To use the full functionality of Sky+, 2 cables are required so you can record 1 program while watching another.
It will still work with 1 cable, but you're restricting yourself to recording what you watch.Dave. :wave:0 -
She has 2 cables so they can wire up the second one. What she is asking is will the new sky+ work with her current old sky card?0

The existing card should work, but she'll have to phone Sky up to get the card paired with the new box, otherwise the functions won't work.Dave. :wave:0
