Tesco Internet Saver - 500 exta reward points and 2.5% Interest

Point taken about the slow setup time and potential for slow/poor service, but for a £1 investment surely its worth it to get 500 points? no need to bother shifting DDs, standing orders and funds. Just close the account once you've got the points.

I too saw this information from my clubcard statement. Tesco isn't shouting this one from the roof tops but more info can be found on the tesco web site tesco.com/savingsoffer.

This link just takes you back to the index page. There are no details of savings offers.

Can't spot anything regarding this offer at the address you give. I see they offer 500 points for opening a Child Trust Fund but nothing mentioned as an incentive for the saver.

Bonus Details - Open a Tesco Internet Saver Account and earn 1% bonus interest on balances up to £100,000 for 12 months.

That link implies that the offer is only available to those customers who received details in their May clubcard statement.

I'll give Tesco Finance a call and report back.

UPDATE - Tesco Finance said that they don't have details of this offer as it is a Clubcard promotion.

Gave me the Clubcard number to call but unfortunately they aren't open on Sundays.

Will call tomorrow.

Rang the Clubcard helpline. They were of no help at all.

Woman I spoke to had no idea if you had to have received details in your Clubcard statement to qualify for this offer.

The information from the Tesco website seems pretty clear though: "offer available to customers who received the 500 points offer in the May Clubcard Statement."
