Hi all..
My friend stayed for three hours! Was really nice to see her thoShe's going to bring the boss who it apparently dying to see us.. OH will make himself scarce for that visit, methinks!
Speaking of OH, he's considering going back to work next week..Rhys will obviously be in here for some considerable time yet and OH wants to keep some of his holidays for when Rhys comes home (looking on the positive side). I suppose he could get himself signed off sick to make sure he's still on full pay (company sick pay) but he also doesn't want to stay off for too long and have work building up too. His new boss has started work this week and the old one leaves on Friday.. I don't know what to suggest to him
His full time hours are 0720 til 1620 with only 35mins for lunch which isn't enough time to get to the hospital, see us and get back to work..

I think going back to work is something that he is going to have to do eventually, but could he come to an arrangement with his employers to do it on reduced hours? The two best things I have done with my life

Elle - that is a difficult one. I can understand why he wants to save some time for when Rhys comes home as well. But it must be tough. I'm sure it'll all work out.
Liam's room catches the afternoon sun and is soooo hot tonight. He won't sleep anywhere but his own cotbed, so I've had to put a huge fan in there. Makes me a bit paranoid, but he doesn't try to climb out, so hoping it's not an issue. I'll just make sure to get up early and move the fan back up on the wardrobe before he wakes up. Can't have the kid roasting in there. We got some light blocking curtains late this afternoon, but of course, didn't get them up in time to do anything about blocking out the heat. Hopefully it will be better tomorrow. I don't know how else to cool his room, it's not like we can put an air conditioner in there.MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0
