That's what we like, :D, Freya Elise. :A

Initials would be, F.E.D. ie: finished, ended, done!

If we we both give birth on time, we could have two Freyas in a week!

Gas and air is fine if used right, but took me 4 babies to work out how. Just a couple of deep breaths on it as you feel the contraction start, NOT when it really starts to hurt. Takes a bit to take effect so suck on it before you need it!

Thank you for the info - that wasn't mentioned today, so definitely worth knowing.

Did you find that G&A really helped or did it just take a slight edge off the pain. The teacher today said that can give you a detached feeling which removes you from the pain.

    I was wondering that too.

MrsM - how are you? Has the bleeding stopped?

    xxx

I've had a few trickles of bleeding today, but nothing major thank god. Its nerve wrecking because Im constantly waiting on a gush which doesnt stop. I phoned the hospital earlier and they said I can go in at anytime I like, or if its heavier or continous.

I have spent most of today in bed being really good :o:o

Bless you, you must be permanently living on tenterhooks.

Good girl for being in bed most of today though!

    How are things at home?

I only had G&A with my last one. TBH, The only benefit I found was the part that went in your mouth was great for biting on.

It was only when I was getting stitches that I felt any effect from it. Infact I argued with the midwife that she has forgotten to turn it on, when she assured me she had turned it on, I got paranoid and thought she was trying it on.

Doesn't stop the pain, but you can't tense up against it. Weird feeling, sort of there but not and when everyone talked around me it was like someone was turning the volume control up and down really fast!
