He went cycling after work yesterday, got home after 8pm so kids didn't see him. A friend asked me if he fancied going to the pub with him today to watch the footie so I suggested it last night then gave him my cash today as he had none and dropped him down in the car. I thought 2-3 hours at the most as he had the nursery to finish but hey ho, 5 hours later I got a phonecall for a lift home. No way! Slightly merry and expecting dinner, 5 hours in a pub with his phone off. Kids are out tomorrow so won't have seen Daddy all weekend and after the week I've had if something happened tonight he couldn't drive anywhere. I really don't mind him going out or else I wouldn't have arranged it but I feel he took the pi$$ a bit. He's not the best companion as it is, feeling a bit lonely at the mo! Oh listen to me wallowing in it.Too many children, too little time!!!0 -
Yoo hoo ladies and bumps - no. 1 lurker here getting the opportunity to say hi and I hope you are all keeping well. I just wanted to say congrats to all the new births and I am silently wishing you all on.
I have returned to work recently after about 2 months sickness caused by my pregnancy and thankfully at 18 weeks it appears to have stopped hurray!!!!!! I feel so much better living like a human being and not a vampire in a darkened room. I just wanted to let any fellow spewers know that ther is a light at the end of the tunnel.
I also wanted to say thanks to you lovelies as I was reading along with my mobile and you really helped me when things were tough. It helped a lot to look forward and think about my baby bear arriving!
so thanks

xmaslolly, my OH is desperate to dye his hair purple. I'm not sure why - but he's planning to get it done at an actual hairdresser (so it doesn't look crap, he tells me).
We were naughty and went to the supermarket. Still no more contractions, but I'm exhausted and starving now! Bonus, though - we're picking up a free high chair and storage trunk, and some scrapbooks, on Wednesday. Awesome.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
