hi can anyone help please?, if you have booked and paid for a holiday but find that for a good reason you cant afford the spends and have to cancel it ,what happens do you have to pay more?

Check the T&C's in the brochure you booked it from. Typically, the main tour operators canellation charges are on a sliding scale ranging from loss of deposit 56 days before date of travel to 100% cost of holiday 3 days before date of travel. Wouldn't think there are any circumstances where you would pay more than 100%.
Could try selling the hol at discount which would incur admin but possibly better than losing larger proportion of cost.0 -
If you have paid a reduced deposit you may be liable to pay the rest of the deposit if you cancel.0
