sony rdr hxd995 - Changing input when it switches on

I have a hard drive recorder the Sony rdr hxd995. My TV (Panasonic TXP37X10) has built in freeview. My problem is when the hard drive recorder is set to record and switched off, as it warms up and switches itself on my tv automatically changed input from HDMI 1, to HDMI 2 to show what it is recording. So if we have a guest babysitting, then they either have to sit and watch what I am recording, or they workout how to put the tv back to HDMI 1.
How do I stop it changing the input when it switches on?
Is it the TV settings or the sony rdr hxd995?
