HELP PLEASE!!
I am going to lay laminate flooring in the hall way, I have done this before so am quite confident... however, the bottom step of the stairs is arched does anyone know how to make the cut in the laminate? Is there a tool I can buy to do this with??
Any advice welcome.

You will need a coping saw to cope with the curve. (sorry)

Or a jig saw with a downwards cutting blade.
Plus some spare laminate so when you balls up the 1st attempt you can do it again!0 -
The Exakt Saw from JMLdirect.com is supposed to be excellent for laminate. It's £90 which may seem expensive, but you can use it for lots of other things in future, including cutting tiles and metal (watch the video on the website). We know a few people who have one and swear by it, even though they are usually DIY disaster areas! My sister in law bought one specifically for tiling the kitchen splashbacks, as a tiler quoted her hundreds. Despite being a first-timer she managed to get it finished in one day and to a great standard, so it paid for itself in one job. And sometimes you can find them cheaper on ebay. That reminds me, keep meaning to buy my husband one!0

Ive found the exakt saw cheaper here:

...only £60.....(I assure you I DO NOT WORK for, or have anything to do with for the above website!!!)
Basically, instead of sawing from the edge of the laminate plank, you can 'plunge the blade in from the middle of the plank. havent checked the jml video though, ill give it a try.Profit=sanity
Turnover=vanity

Thank you all very much for your advice, I do have extra, which I am sure I will use!!
Fingers crossed I won't make too much of a mess...0
