Go on, rub salt in the wounds! I too am gutted to trade in our A6 but it's expensive to run and with payments of £326 a month versus £150 i'm afraid with our financial situation being tighter than it was when we bought it I couldn't put up much of an argument for keeping it. We don't drive very many miles and not too much motorway driving. Still, I would have loved to have kept it, it's a gorgeous car! BUT.at the end of the day it's just a car and causing grief between us. Anyone want to make an offer over the trade in of £9000 it's a done deal!:o

I am going to ring AC today and tell them i'm not happy with the finance offered. I feel it is deceitful to sell it in such a way to make it hard to understandexactly how much interest your paying. After coming home and working out the figures it's not as good a deal as we could get from the bank.

Let you know how it goes.

Yippee!!! We're keeping the Audi!!! It was not going to be financially beneficial for us to lose money on the trade in ( bought march 08 for £16,250. trade in £9000) and also be penalised for settling up early in our current finance deal so we are sticking with it. We have been having numerous phone calls from AC trying hard to persuade us to buy the clio but they finally have the message. We worked out all the figures and it turns out the finance company had conveniently not added one month's payment on, it's £326 and AC were adamant we'd only made 11 payments ( ALD Automotive Finance). I checked the bank account online and told them I had it in front of me in black and white that we had made 12 payments. By this time I had just had enough and so had hubby. He is still worried about repair costs for the Audi should anything major go wrong but my view is to cross that bridge if and when we come to it. The end result is I still get to keep my lovely car. :j
