First time on this part of forum as it was going well...
Basically my ex denied my daughter was his so was told to go for DNA but refused to have that done and was presumed to be her father. An attatchment of earnings was placed and i was getting paid. couple months ago the payments stopped and the csa have contacted his work, they are saying he is actually awol from work but still on the books. Turns out he is not and is still working away.
This is a large fast food company he works for and is a store manager. I really dont know what the next steps are. I am going to inform the csa but what is the likliehood of this going anywhere other than nowhere? I dont see how he has managed it to be honest.
Any advice of what to do, think i am just after reassurance that it will work out!

I honestly don't know what your next steps are, I am surprised though that the CSA and his employers are so willing to furnish personal information , do none of these people adhere to some kind of data protection policy? :eek:0 -
What's the personal information? Him and his employers were obviously lying and the OP was entitled to know the reason why her payments have stopped.
Nothing has been given out which she shouldn't be privvy to.0 -

If you tried to contact my employer and requested information on one of the employee's without some kind of court warrant they would tell you to do one!
Even then you would not get the information over the phone and the employee would have to give permission for the information to be released.0 -
The employers are duty bound to notify the CSA of that info.
They should be referring the case to criminal compliance for them to make contact with the employer to make sure that they get payments from them. If they fail to start paying again, criminal compliance have warrants that they can use to gain access to the info and then prosecute.0 -
Well after starting this thread i got up to a letter from the CSA this morning!
Turns out he is now claiming state benefits and is to pay me £2.50 a week.
I dont rely on his money which is good but i cant understand why he would be claiming he was being paid 30k a year for his job. There is a girl i know who works for the same company who is going to do a little investigating for me.
Thank you for all the responses.would love to win an ipad!

by investigating i mean finding out what store he is at and if he is actually off. just conversation wise not digging into files or anything:D
A guy got dismissed from our place, nobody knows why or even if he was dismissed, awol is a dismissable offence, his p60 may indicate if he is employed or not, however it seems as if the csa have done the work they need to as they are offering you £2.50 per week, what a waste of time and taxpayers money?0 -
The pwc can appeal a csa decision why should the OP shut up for £2.50 per week, if she knows either way that the assessment is incorrect then she has a legal right to challenge this.A guy got dismissed from our place, nobody knows why or even if he was dismissed, awol is a dismissable offence, his p60 may indicate if he is employed or not, however it seems as if the csa have done the work they need to as they are offering you £2.50 per week, what a waste of time and taxpayers money?Hit the snitch button!member #1 of the official warning clique.

I agree, appeal, if the nrp is on benefits and has to support more than one child, what can the OP do or the csa?
Even the appeal process cannot extract blood from a stone :eek:0
