Experian!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are Experian con-merchants or is it me being paranoid?
Have any MSE members had trouble with Experian when trying to get a supposedly free credit report from Experian and not be able to cancel after the 30 day free period!
Read some of the reports on this site which is VERY worrying if you want to correct a fault with your credit report!

You must be being paranoid because we are not in the business of conning or misleading people. Experian is currently UK business of the year. Thousands of people take advantage of our CreditExpert free trial each week and, if they choose to, have no problem cancelling it (which you can do by e-mail or free phone). If you check through the chat threads on this site you will see that many MSEs have used and are very satisfied with our service. We have over 200 people in our Consumer Help Service to help people see their reports and resolve any queries they may have. If people do check their reports and find an error, we are happy to investigate this on their behalf and try to put things right as quickly as possible. The link you refer to is a US website referring to a US service.“Official Company Representative
I am an official company representative of Experian. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"

Those are all complaints in America, so what relevance does it have to the UK Experian who are a different body? You can always call them up to cancel the 30 day trial - its as easy as that.0

Only thing I don't like is I could update my address online with Equifax, but not Experian (I moved in Sept and Experian still had me down at my old address last time I looked). No problems at all otherwise:j The £2 CSC = £48 in carton£100 banked Mar 06V-Free : 4 weeks
