I think this might be a *tad* off topic however not sure where else to ask
Decided to book a holiday only to find out my OH passport is out of date :T
Hoilday is a while away yet (3 nights in Barcelona for £401 in a 4* hotel) so not worried about time of getting the passport back etc etc
The thing is he had this passport done when he was 18 yrs old with the 'best' haircut in the world!
I am wondering if I'd still be able to use the same picture that is current as the only thing that changed is the hair all chopped off and he looks older.
Do you think it would be a problem not changing the picture?
Thanks in Advance

afraid not - it says
With all applications, you must include two identical recent photographs. These must meet internationally agreed standards and must be of a true likeness of you.
I had a passport lost and sent in the same photo as the previous one which was less than 2 years old and they sent it back saying I needed a recent one0 -
He definitely needs a new photo. If he is recognisably the same person as in the old one there is no need to get them authorised (i.e. signed by someone), but he will need to do that if he's changed quite a bit.0
