I think it looks better. Looks more toolbar-ish and componentised as an interface which is how operating systems etc... are going.
I suppose there's a balance between popular and information useful to the majority vs. the desire to push the obscure stuff that people probably don't know. I'd kind of like to see social loans/credit unions bumped higher from a purely social engineering point of view. A lot of people at the sub-prime end of the spectrum don't have the option to manipulate credit and alternatives to loans/credit might be more appropriate than Vanquis or their friends. Shold I be using a credit card for this at all? A text link on a tab to credit unions (if you don't know what they are - Western Union) makes it fairly niche but it might be the most appropriate credit path for some.0 -
nice and easy to look around. Thumbs up from me.

Hi there
I do like it very much its easier to navigate and to be honest not so scary to look through as the pages are now nice and small.
Well done
A question - are the diaries staying out of DFW ? I personally don't like them split up from the main part of the thread as its nice coming across them and seeing how folks have done when you first amble over the DFW section.
Of course only my opinion. Its a big step creating a diary and putting it on a seperate diary board makes it a bit off putting for me.
Just my rambles.
otherwise nothing to complain about - since coming on here I have dropped at least 10k from my debt, 84% paid off a loan since Feb (having found out I could) and to be honest turned about this single parent life - for the first time in my life I am in control of my finances and I am not scared of them so - if you might actually read this bit Martin - thanks
My 12 year old says 'do i want it, do i need it can I buy it cheaper' -Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:

Nice. Looks like bookmarks. Saves scrolling down endlessly, thanks. I wish long threads, specially where there is a lot of information, had a similar format, we could view threads like flipping pages. I also like use of flowcharts.
Yes I agree!
It makes the information you need much more accessible.0 -
I dont like it.
(Actually, I'm lying..... It's just with all those "yes, its great" comments I thought I would try and make it look like there was an unbiased view:o:rotfl:)
Edit: my awful spellingNo Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

I think this is an important comment - but do remember most people think they know what they want (new users)
So they come for cheap loans even though a credit card or credit union is better. Thats why in the articles we again ask questions and move people to where they should be - so its not just the surface navigation its the explanatory editorialMartin Lewis, Money Saving Expert.

Thank you for the re-design and like every one else I think it is an improvement.
BUT I still think the page is too crowded. As mentioned above the right hand side column is too big. There is a lot of repetition ; for example the forums are clearly indicated at the top so do they really need to be again in the right hand side column and in the middle text, the tools are there twice, the free email is also repeated?
so IMO well done it is better but still has some way to go.0 -

Yep we know that. However the right hand side is a seperate part of the site - and is cross site implemented. After we've done the section pages and the home page (similarly) the right hand side is the next on the list.Martin Lewis, Money Saving Expert.
