Used LCD TV, what to check?

I'm collecting a LG RZ-32LZ55 32" LCD TV over the weekend that I won on ebay. Tv is described as very good condition and in perfect working order.
As I'm paying cash and no comebacks etc, are there any checks/tests that I should make to minimise risk of problems later? Or is it just a case of switch it on and see it works?
Also, I'm paying £150 for it, no stand but a wall bracket (preferred by me anyway). Is this a good price for a 2 year old LCD TV?

It doesn't (or didn't) get great reviews when it came out 3 years ago, but I guess £150 is Ok for something that retailed at £700 back then.
Things to look for would be uneven or flickering backlight and vertical stripes on screen. I'd also want to watch it for at least 10 mins to reduce the risk of a heat-related problem. They seem to have issues with some inputs failing, so watching through several sources (e.g. Freeview STB and DVD) would be a good idea.
You might also want to check that the seller has a receipt, or some other evidence that it's not stolen goods...0 -
Cheers fwor. I actually watched another one end for £265 yesterday, so happy with the price!0
