in Credit cards
I have had a bad run with my credit cards, going over the limit etc. luckily so far i have never missed a payment. The interest rate is seriously slowing down me g etting them paid off.
I have two, both on abut 15% interest now. I applied for 2 0% cards in January and got turned down.
How long should I leave it before i apply again? I dont want to keep getting turned down so thought it best to leave it a while. Someone said 3 months, then someone else told me 6 months.
Any advice would be great.

cantcope,
3 months should be long enough for your recent applications not to count against you.
However.......
The problem may not be the applications, but the fact that you have gone overlimit and maybe how much the £15,750 debt you have is in relation to your income.
Who are your cards with? Who do you bank with? Your best approach may be to convert some of the debt to a loan at a lower APR and show you are capable of managing the payments fine. Then you may get another 0% offer.
Getting overlimit flags on your credit record doesn't exactly make you attractive to other lenders though, and it will take a long time for those to clear, 12 months + I think?
