OK as I type this I am trying my best not to PMSL, I have one very panicky 16 yr old dd sitting here almost in tears.

Today was her last day in school so they all took sharpies (permanent markers) in to write all over their school shirts.....while still wearing them.

Does anyone know how to remove permanent ink from skin?

Wouldn't normally be a problem it could just wash off/rub off over time, but it's her leavers prom tomorrow and right across the top of her arm she has the name of one of her friends printed on it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

try baby oil to remove it.

or Try an alcohol based antiseptic hand wash, that might remove most. You will still, probably, be left with a feint mark though.

But panic not, it will wear away. Permanent markers only stain the top few layers of skin, which are dead. So it will go as the skin goes. It's not like a tattoo wear the ink in injected into the living skin cells below the surface.

    swarfega?

sugar/salt mixed with washing up liquid. The abrasiveness will lift it off.

Could you get hold of rubbing alcohol? That might work?

Hairspray is great for permanent marker, I got some out of a t-shirt the other day with it or

So it seems that if you go over a permanent marker spot or line a second time and then hit it with a cleaner while the second application is still wet - you stand a good chance of removing all of it.

Or WD 40 or lighter fluid
