I know I am stupid but....

In december 2005 I consolidated a couple of loans including a secured one withh PPI that had been running only about a year now the new company sold me new PPI (now sorted) but I was told that oh thats cancelled with regards the old policy (thats the bit where I am stupid).

So I have a PPI policy costing around £3750 that ran for 12 months before the loan was repaid is there anything in contacting this company after three and a half years?

    Hi there

If you were mis sold the ppi in any way it does not matter if the loan is settled or still active.

If you no paperwork for this any longer, all you have to do is write to them to request for a copy of the agreement, most request for a cover payment of £1 postal order or cheque payment, and they should supply this to you by 12 days.

For more info on reclaiming use this link below to help you, you will find useful PPI info and reclaiming templates, use your own reasons to the template letter, they have 8 weeks to respond in full, follow the reclaiming guide, in the final response, they should give details of the financial ombudsman service (FOS) if your not satisfied with the outcome, good luck and post up for help when required.;)
