Advice needed about Lloydstsb....?

We have just been charged £6 per day for being over our overdraft by £1.40 for 6 days, plus £15 for being overdrawn. We have spoken to Lloydstsb and they say that it is a fair charge. I want to appeal against this but cannot seem to get past the 'call centre' Anyone got any advice??
