cheeky weekend to Ibiza

We want to book a weekend in Ibiza for a spot of clubbing in August.

Does anyone know Ibiza well and can recommend a reasonable hotel, say 3* style. Needs to be near/in the bizz as we're only staying 2 nights. Not taking our son obviously, this is just for the adults :-)

Any other general tips? I've seen some websites in which you can buy tickets for clubs in advance of travelling. Seems strange to me, does anyone know if these are genuine deals? Will be booking a budget airline if we find a hotel we want in particular. Otherwise we'll see what package we can get last minute style.

for that time of year u might aswell go for a full week as the price will be more than a package.

unless u book flights and hotel separately... but even then i cant see you finding an amazing deal unless u go ryanair and travel. if ur really gospel on reviews use tripadvisor.

There isn't really anywhere you could describe as "near/in the bizz" the big clubs are strung out between Ibiza town and San Antonio. The west end of san antonio is where a large amount of bars are but there are also bars in Ibiza town.

In summer there are 24hr discobusses to move people around the island so realistically you can get anywhere on the island anytime.

It may be best to research which clubs/events you want to go to and then look at booking based around then. Everywhere you go you can buy cheap tickets so probably best to buy them when your there.

Also if your only going for a couple of days and plan on clubbing it then you really wont be seeing much of the hotel so does it really matter what standard it is?
