Me and my two friends thought we would go to the cinema on Wednesday to see Star Trek. I am an Orange customer so I thought I would do the 2for1 thing. Arrived at the cinema and asked 3 for Star Trek with a free one only to be told they don't accept them! Are they the only cinema in Belfast not to take Orange Wednesdays? I wasn't best pleased.
So 3 adults, a small popcorn, small coke and and a bottle of water cost £24!
Crikey!

Sounds pretty cheap, a similar deal at my local Vue cinema would be about £30.I hate migraines.0

I haven't been to the cinema in a while. Just a bit taken aback. I initially thought he said £44!0

I havent' been to the cinema either in quite a while. By the sounds of things, it'll be as long again.
....by the way, was the film any good?0 -

Try Greater London prices..
£8 entry per adult which can go up to £10 for late showings on a Friday and saturday night. A childrens portion of popcorn and a small drink is £5.50 and bottled water £1.75.
If you try Central london it is even worse.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Storm are one of the dearer ones here. Omniplex dont do Orange Wed either.
Movie House and Odeon have cheaper tickets £3 on Tues all day.
Real skinflint (or moneysaving;)) tip, we always take popcorn, sweets and drinks with us now. You can buy bags of Golden Popcorn (the stuff you get in Movie House;)) in Asda and I think Tesco for around £1.
I want to see the new Star Trek film, hope to go on Sun night:beer:Norn Iron club member - 2650 -
Which cinemas allow you to take your own food and drinks in?0
-
Havnt come across one yet that doesnt?!? Hot food isnt allowed, like McD's or Burger Kings. We had to stop people when I used to work in a local cinema. Never stopped anyone taking in own sweets/juice.
We don't make it really obvious, just take the sweets etc in a carrier bag or squish into my bag lolNorn Iron club member - 2650
