Now Nationwide are charging 1% for foreign debit card transactions, I am thinking of opening a PO account to use whilst on holiday in USofA. Any better ideas?

In terms of debit cards, Nationwide is still the cheapest way of getting hold of foreign currency.
PO credit card doesn't charge, but remember that you'll pay a cash advance fee if you use ATMs.0 -
