excellent, many thanks. I did wonder about the M+S ones, but I've never had a firebowl before and some brands say 'don't use with the NEXT firebowls'.

It will be something I won't use very much so I might go for the Next ones.

  • I also have the same problem and can't get hold of the next gel. I have found these tins on line but they only seem to come in 0.5l tins but are the cheapest I have found - I guess you could scoop out the gel and put it in the next tin (if you are lucky enough to have one!!)

  • We receive a lot of requests for gel refills that will fit Next and M&S bowls.

Could someone clarify if its 250g or 350g tins that people want?

We've managed to source 250g tins currently, in addition to the common 500g size and 1 litre refill bottles.

The 250g tins will be on our web site soon at http://www.candelainteriors.com
(Someone mentioned our site above - thank you!)

We will consider stocking 350g tins if there is enough demand for them.

Has anyone considered using 1 litre refill bottles and re-using the tins? This should be a much cheaper way to run your fire bowl and I'd always encourage re-using the tins wherever possible.

Reusing Tins - Its safe to do so - just make sure there are no holes in the tin and that you clean out any residue with hot water to prevent any smoke / smell.

  • Im interested in 350ml tins - threw my old ones away no need to buy new ones before I start refilling
    Thanks
  • Does anyone know where i can gel a bottle of fire gel for a small gel burner without having to buy a crte of 12 or more or pay ridiculous postage?
  • Alcohol gel fuel is much popular among Asian Countries. Gel fuel is used for food warming purpose by Hotel and Catering Industries. You can buy from www dishwarmer (dot) com , but it is used only for Hotel and Catering purpose. They are offering great quality product with reasonable price compared to other Countries.

    rgds,
  • Appending to the previous reply Wondergel gel fuel is the brand manufactured by Sri Vaishnavi Enterprises, India.
