Air Miles & Homebase - Aaargh

Just received the latest Homebase Spend & Save statement - today 15th May, having been waiting for the reward vouchers to exchange for Airmiles. - And now in the process of composing a snotty letter!

Lo and behold - "from 10th May 2009 you will no longer be able to turn Homebase Spend & Save vouchers into Airmiles."

I knew the changes were imminent but does anyone else think sending statements out late may have been deliberate? - Or did anyone get their statement in time to exchange for airmiles?

I didn't but what annoys me more is I used a voucher back in April (Easter time) which was spend £50 and get 250 Airmiles and asked in Homebase would I get my statement before the conversion over to Nectar - she said Yes and then I get my statement which says 250 Nectar points.

Thinking of ringing and complaining!

Anybody else in the same boat? Anybody done anything about it?

I phoned to query/complain and as soon as I said I had a complaint about not being able to exchange vouchers for airmiles was told I had to put it in writing and send to their head office. - Perhaps they are hoping we can't be bothered to write!
