and suddenly all buying-only accounts are pristine and 100%.
Has it really been that long?! And people are still lamenting the loss of the red blob ability.

I wondered when that was going to be, I thought it was slightly later, I hadn't realise the year was round already!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Expect a few more ASQ's with "Of course you can trust me, I have 100% feedback".
Strangely enough, there is a discussion on the eBay powerseller board about the deal of the day sellers, "only" having 99.5% feedback. 3000 posiitive in a month, and 8 negs, yet some people are making it out to be a real travesty of justice.
Feedback. Time for another change.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -

I think there has been an element of that on here as well. I do like sellers with high feedback percentages, but for a smaller seller particularly even 98% can mean just one neg in the past year, and if that was from a TSFE buyer is seems poor form to pass that seller by.
The one thing I tend to do if I have time, or if I have a buyer that starts to worry me, is to look at the feedback that the buyer has left for others, that can be very informative.
I've already posted about my Scandanavian buyer who had left 6 feedback in the past year, two were negs and th eone she left eventually for me was a neutral. If I had spotted that through a gentle browse I may well have blocked her 'just in case'.
I had another only last week, her feedback receievd was 20+ yet she had only ever left three feedback, two neutral and a positive. I was expecting the worse but luckily for some reason she decided to leave me posiitve feedback.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Feedback is still a quirk of ebay, and does not form part of the transactional process for buying - internet savvy people are getting more impatient - they want to find, buy and receive their item as quick as possible. Leaving feedback does not form part of that gratification process.
It's like the old saying - a happy person often keeps it to themselves, an annoyed person will tell 20 others. Or "screamers" as a dear departed friend would refer to them!<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
