The downside is I'm gonna be drinking on Saturday coz I'm crashing at a friends (unless I'm lucky) which is gonna be more expensive obviously but I haven't been out on the lash since Christmas so I'm gonna enjoy it!
Excellent going!! How'd you manage that? Did you enjoy the footy? Good game from what I heard (I was working)
I'm sure you'll get lucky SS!!!
And it won't cost you as much going out Saturday night as you will probably be a lightweight now due to not drinking much!!:p Less beer to get you drunk!:rotfl:Official DFW Nerd no. 082! :cool:Debt @ 01/01/2014 £16,956 Debt now: £0.00 :j

This has got to be my worst month yet!
I've got no money and at the moment I don't really care. Today and tomorrow I'm working even though I'm on holiday to earn some extra dosh. Will be good because it will be a minimum of £300 if not £375 before tax.
That could have gone on my debts but I know it will be paying off my overdraft instead. It's been a tough month anyway. Three birthdays, an end of season football do/p!ss up which is gonna me probably £100(i know, I know) then there is the fishing which costs a small bloody fortune.
Although I'm disappointed that I could reduce my debt by a bit I would genuinely prefer to spend that money on enjoying myself. I can't do the "put every penny to the debt" thing or I'm gonna end up resenting it and throwing in the towel.
The way I look at it is that I didn't budget for this extra money and I'm using up my hard earned days off to earn it so why not blow it on myself. I work hard (ish) and bloody unsocialable hours so bo!!ocks to my conciense (sp) I'm gonna blow this money and enjoy every minute! Life is too short!

Absolutely SS.
You're doing great and you need to have some fun. ( And so do I !). As OH said to me we could be dead and then where was the point in economizing? Moderation in all things, including money saving.
Most couples argue about money, that is spends. We never have but are now...who is saving too much/ paying off the cc bills.
