Had a few bits and bobs to sort like the car. Cost me £25 in the end which weren't bad.
Brakes were squaeaking aswell so got the jet washer out on them. Bit of 'financial housekeeping' and matched betting! :rolleyes:0 -

Well impressed SS, you are just doing so bloody well
Any tips for keeping motivated? I sense that my purse strings are feeling somewhat looser at the mo....
I'm offended!
It's mainly the same drivel repeated anyway!
Thank you!
I've found the matched betting helps! I used to have a long period between getting paid, working stuff out, and loan coming out, then credit cards at the end of the month. I fill that time making a few quid in between takes your mind of checking the same figures that don't change and your making money at the same time!
I think Jamesy is just about to start so if you both do it at the same time I'm more than willing to help you look for odds and talk you through it!0 -
WOW well done on that matched betting total - wish I could do it, cant work it out though, think I must be looking at it wrong :cool: Official DFW Nerd Club Member #37 Debt free Feb 07 :cool:0

Ooh, and me to! I'm just trying to earn enough through the money for nothing challenge to get me started, rather than use my own cash and get a bit carried away. I totally get the concept now, am impatient to start!! So anyway, if there's any general chat (or tip sharing) going on... count me it, pretty please?!
Congrats on the £300 overpayment, that's fab! :TDon't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Avenue QOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 003Proud to have become debt free... and striving to keep it that way

:j ooo can I join your club too.....if I try really hard and read it all again ( third time  ) Official DFW Nerd Club Member #37 Debt free Feb 07 :cool:0 -
OK, if you four, James, Lynz, Kath and Oops want, I'll go through it step by step with you?
You need to read it all though and download the matcher spreadsheet which can be found in the beginners guide. It is one of those things where doing it makes it easier to understand than talking about it but I want you to understand the concept and basics first though!
To start I recommend you need £100. You aren't risking or losing this money. You just need it to be sitting in betting accounts rather than your bank account for a week or so.
Let me know if you are interested and when you are free? If we can all get together on something like MSN it might be easier! :think:0 -
ooh good plan
I like itMSN is good, Im a MSN user deffo
I will however need my OH to be in whilst the discussion is happening, we need to understand it together IYSWIM - early evenings or weekend best for me:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind

So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
