OK, it take me several different attempts to understand it, going months in between readings!

Don't give up on it though. I wish I had perservered first time.

The one thing I would say is when the newbie guide talks about 'laying' bets, try and think of it as you acting as the bookmaker. Laying a bet of £10 basically means, 'SS come and bet £10 with me and I'll give you odds of 2.5'!

That might help, it might confuse you but laying was the bit I found hard to grasp!

I tried that but ended up leaving the car and having a jar or two.
