Hi SS, Glad to see youre back. Ive been a bit of a lurker too lately but have been reading this thread. I know exactly what you mean about having to live. I feel a bit of a failure because as you probably know we moved into this old house at the beginning of last month and our intention was just to pay off debt and try to save to do it up at the same time. However the kitchen was a dirty black hole with filthy old cupboards that i refusedto put anything in and we had no cooker, and my son had fitted wardrobes and a fitted bed atg the last house so he was living out of a suitcase and sleeping on the floor. well, we gave in and bought him a big wardrobe from Ikea, a desk, a bed and mattress, and a side table. We also bought some kitchen units and drawers (no doors though) from Ikea and a cooker and hob. The cc bill hasnt come in yet but i reckon we must have set ourself back about £3000. i feel terrible about it but we spent the money because we felt we had to live and now i think ive got to use all the money ive saved for the loft extension to pay off as much as possible off the new bill. So we're back to square one. Dont know why i told you all that except that i think you will know how i feel right now.The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

Well I only spent £1.70 today on a baguette which I couldn't even finish!
Tomorrow I really need to get a new pair of trainers! Went the other week but didn't buy any but mine are looking really scruffy!
Also wanted to get some gloves for the gym as me hands are blistering up and although they only cost about £8 I really don't want to part with the money! :rotfl:
Also need to buy some toiletries so tomorrow isn't gonna be a good day! :rolleyes:0
