Best (cheapest) place to buy xbox 360 ??

I'm looking to buy a xbox 360 probably next few weeks / 2 months time ish.

Was wondering where would be the cheapest place to get it, or is everywhere going to be the same, ie: £280 for console and £50 for games ??

I would also like to know this. My student discount runs out in June so I am keen to get one now if I can get discount on it - but it seems most of the high street retailers don't offer student discount on consoles?

The second cheapest way I can think of is to buy up discounted gift vouchers on eBay etc. and use those to buy it in Game, HMV, etc?

had a look around and HMV seems to be pretty good as you can get 6% back from quidco, making it like £267 or something.

i was looking at yesasia.com (i think thats the link) due to them being grey imports (jap models) the games are cheaper and they give 7% back.

theres a £20 off £100 at hmv but not sure if this works as it would bring it down to £245 with quidco.

xycom1 - the student discount doesnt work on consoles ive asked about that aswell.
