I applied online this afternoon for a Natwest Current Plus account and got the Approved in Principle Decision, with paperwork to follow to sign and return, should I take that as I have been accepted, or that I could still be turned down ?.
Thanks

You could still get turned down as once they get your paperwork back they will do further checks on your application.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -
Natwest are waste of time.I would just go to any bank on the high street where they will open the account for you right away.0

we had this when we applied for a large loan with natwest online, the call centre told us it was approved and the money would be in our account in 48 hrs, it never arrived and we were given the run around, we were then told to apply again in branch, but again the application got lost in the system. Even our letter of complaint never was replied to and everything was sent recorded. We had put deposits down on a new van and car, and had to get a loan from halifax at not such a good rate otherwise we would have lost our deposits. This was a few years ago now, but natwest have never contacted us since, we used to get several calls a week from them wanting us to go in for a review etc. Anyway i've rambled but dont assume you have been accepted until you get the card!0
