Payment holiday

in Credit cards
Hi all,
Am going to be changing jobs next week. Very excited as, whilst the new job is the same initial money as I am now, it is much better prospects.
The down side is that when leaving my old job I have unpaid annual leave, and a training course to pay back. The upshot is that my final pay packet will be a fraction of what I normally get. The little I am taking home will go to my rent, leaving nothing for my credit cards and bank loan this month.
We are in the process of being assessed by Payplan to find a better way forward, however in the short term I am wondering what would be the best way to deal with this? Or am I best raising this with Payplan for advice when we have our telephone assesment at the weekend?
Thanks in advance,
Mark

I would raise it with Payplan. You could inform the creditors the reasons why. I did that and made up the payments over the following 6 months and it didnt show as missing a payment as it was caught up.Payplan should be able to do that and if your a regular payer im sure all parties would understand as these things happen.0

Thanks for the advice. Unfortuanatly things are so tight at the moment I wouldn't be able to pay the months back over the coming months. Think payplan might be my best bet.0

Well yes speak to Payplan. Thats what they are there for. Either way they will come to some arrangement.0

Oh and good luck with it. Ive been through it and when you get out of the other end you will know its been worth it. When you get paid and all your money is yours for the first time in years is amazing0
