Hi all,
Would someone be able to advise me on the following query.
I took out a loan with Egg and the PPI, however after 2 years of paying PPI i decided to cancel it.
Am I able to claim for the 2 years I was paying it ?
Kind Regards.
Paul.

That really depends , did you cancel because you didnt need it or to save money , or do you think it was missold?
was it a single frontloaded policy , did you get a rebate when you cancelled?0 -
I would be intrested about this too.
I cancelled mine to save money, half way through my loan, I did kick up a fuss though as I didnt no I was paying it orignally as I didnt need it.
I was only 18 at the time and living with my parents.
Can I make a PPI claim on my loan??0 -
hi ,definately need more info, what type of policy, pay monthly or one payment added to loan? did you get a rebate when cancelled ?
when you took the loan , who sold you the ppi the same company or through a broker?
why do you think it was missold ?
If it was a single front loaded payment ,then you may have grounds for reclaiming , if it was monthly payment ,you can try to reclaim but it is harder.
All the template letters are available to get the process going .

Mine was a monthly loan, paying off like £200 per month, then I found out about the PPi charge and it came down to like £150 a month after i cancelled it.
I was sold the loan on the phone after i enquired and I dont recall them even telling me about the PPi at the time.0 -
