    Petrol now even with diesel or dearer in some petrol stations, why is this happening?

    Petrol high 106.9
    low 96.9

    Diesel High 108.9
    low 99.9

    Petrol is getting above the £1 mark per litre. infact its 102 at my local garage.

    Why isnt there a stink about the price of petrol on the news. I remember last year was it?? there were blockades and protests before the price was up past 119p.

    Its funny that the price is creeping up everyday and no one cares!!

    There has been a thread on this already. There are numerous factors at play here- tax, exchange rates, demand and oil rate. Diesel for example is benfiting from low international shipping demand, low summer demand and hence is now the same or cheaper than petrol. I'd expect petrol to perhaps fall or at least say still in the next couple of weeks. It is still 96.9-98.9p here.

    The AA publish a list of comparison petrol prices. Have a look at it if you think we get ripped.

    apparently we have that much oil sitting around in tankers nobody wants to buy any at the moment apparently we have too much?

    tonight i filled up with unleaded, unleaded was 100.9p diesel was 99.9p.

    first time in ages diesel was cheaper than petrol.
    ...work permit granted!
