Closing an AA Internet Savings account

Hi all,

I've got an AA Internet Savings account which I understand has a rate of (currently) 4.66%, 0.6% of which is a first-year bonus, and interest is credited on the anniversary of opening the account.

If I close this account and move the funds elsewhere BEFORE this date, I'll still get the 4.66% credited on closure - won't I ?

Can anyone confirm this is right ?

Thanks

Paul

Typical... just typical... found it in the T's and C's seconds after posting !
Rates of interest on the account are variable. The AA Internet Savings Account has a first year bonus. The bonus is calculated daily and paid on the day of the first year account anniversary. If the account is closed before the first anniversary then the bonus will be paid for the period up until the day before the account was closed.

Thank you for your time. Nothing to see here... please move along !

    ;)
