Pentax Optio question

I have new pentax optio A40 with a 1Gb memory card. How many pics could I hope to get at the best setting?

Plus I've found a Multi Media MMC 128 MB memory card which appears to be usable (as I've taken a test shot), does anyone know if by using this as a standby, it will be OK? and if so, how many shots would I hope to get on this one?

Comments

  • I have a Pentax Optio S45 and in the Operating Manual (Getting Started section, under Installing the SD memory card) is a table that shows approximate number of images according to size and quality you can expect to save on the camer and the memory card. Perhaps you'll have the same info in yours? Mine gives data for the 128MB card I got with the camera and depending on no of pixels per shot (best quality) the number of images I could expect to store is between 49 and 500.

    Hope this helps!
