Hi I want to get marmoleum fitted in our bathroom which is about 3m x 2m, just wandering if anyone has any idea how much it would cost for someone to fit it and does it have to be glued down?

Yes, it needs gluing down. Can't remember price to lay it though, I ended up going for lino as the budget was tight!0

Hi,
Marmoleum is a contract rated smooth flooring, and must be glued down...it cannot be loose laid at all. Sorry about this, but expect to pay AT LEAST double (plus cost of adhesive) what it would cost to have a domestic vinyl (lino) laid.
In my opinion, you would be better off with a domestic vinyl, as they are easier and less time consuming to fit, and you are not paying extra for a product which is overspecified for your needs.Profit=sanity

Thank you, I think I'll price up the vinyl then :cool:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.
