Digital tachos and new CPC law

Does anyone know how long it takes to get a digi tacho card from the DVLA once you send the forms off ? Also does the new CPC law mean that you have to complete the course by sept 2009 or simply start it by then ?

The cpc i think is finish by sept took mine last year.
Digi card is how long is a piece of string it is swansea where talking about could be four weeks.

Your not missing anything with digi card apart from grieve!!
don't for get your licence will have to have your photo on it too more bloody money for dvla..

i know that if the digi card is damaged/malfunctions they have to get a new one too you with in 14 days,at your address and the first one comes to your address,if lose or have it stolen and change address you have to collect it from a dvla office
and you have to complete the cpc training by 2014 to get anther 5 years of paid driving and it starts all over again,
we get the first five years on grandfather rights
no cpc means cannot get paid to drive
