It's automatically credited to your card on the anniversary date of receiving the card. If this pushes the card into credit, they can send the positive balance to a bank account or post you a cheque.
Whilst my posts do not constitute financial advice, I am always, without fail, 100% right! :D

    Hi,

I had an AMEX Blue Sky Card, i dont know if that is the same one you have. For every £4000 or so i spent i received £50 off any travel related purchase.

Do you have to claim that or does it credit automatically when you spend £4000?

I was unaware of how to do it, but when i called them up to arrange Direct Debit, i asked about any points i had, they then looked at my statement and they told me i could claim the £50.

So, give them a call, they are very helpful - see what you are entitled to.
