Anyone else get their tax credits paid very oddly?

So got my assessment this week - the TC office have paid me:

£306.06 on Monday
£234.50 on Wednesday
Then for the next 2 months they will pay £228.70 every 4 weeks
Then the following month £272.30
The ongoing at £284.30 every 4 weeks

Why do they not just pay the same amount each month? It seems so odd to pay me that way...

Depending on what you qualify fro will depend on the payments.
In the award if you look through it will tell you under each section what you are entitled to and what you have been paid. So CTC, Childcare, WTC.
The first two maybe catch up from last years award for CTC and WTC. The next 2 will bring you in line to what has already been paid to you and the last one until the end of the year.
