Cheapest dial-up ISP?

A pal of mine wants a cheap dial-up provider, and it's got to be cheap. Any ideas?

I've been using a company called:-

free24-7.net (http://free24-7.net/)

now for about 3 years it costs £8.50 per month and you get given a free phone number to dial. You get 28 hours each week surftime and it re-sets itself every Sunday at midnight to the 28 hours for the following week. It has 1 hour cut off but you just redial. I've never had a problem getting back on line.

If thats not enough hours per week they are linked to a company called

V21 (http://portal.v21.co.uk/index.asp)

for £9.99 they give you 42 hours surftime per week with a 4 hour cut off, again you just redial using the free phone number they give you.

Join up is really easy and quick.
