no Lloyds TSB connection

I'd like to open a new current bank account but I want to go with a bank that has absolutely nothing to do with Llyods TSB. I thought Natwest would have been ok but I believe they are part of the RBS group which are now part of Lloyds TSB. Does anyone know if this is correct please?
If so does anyone know of a bank that is NOT in anyway related or connected to Lloyds TSB?

Barclays, Co-op, Abbey, A&L, HBOS, and HSBC are not related or connected to LTSB.

RBS Group is not part of LTSB.

Lloyds TSB is a part of the Lloyds Banking Group, as is HBOS (Halifax/Bank of Scotland).

RBS is Royal Bank of Scotland (a completely different company to Bank of Scotland) and comprises RBS themselves, and Natwest.

So to sum up, anything outside of this list is ok: Halifax, Bank of Scotland, Lloyds TSB, St James's Place, IF

Thank you for clearing that one up rb10, my mistake in thinking RBS and Bank of Scotland were one and the same. So I'll go with Natwest then :T
