US Robotics Warrenty

ive got a us robotics wireless router the 8054 model that has had many reviews sying its very unreliable.
my one kept on resetting every 30 mins or so. i spoke to usr that confirmed it is a fault with the router and that a replacment was needed.
now there saying that i have to post of the router to them costing me around £5 and ill probebly be without a router for at least a week.
i think thats very unreasonable especialy as the fault is completly on their part.
is there anyay to make them pay for p&p and alsosend one out to me before i send it back to them.
many thanks for any help you can give.

If it is less than a year old, and you bought it from a shop, take it back to the shop. They should really pay for the postage, or send you a freepost label/give you a freepost address. Or courier a replacement out to you, to swap at the door.
Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time?

yh thats where i got the number to phone them, to get the matter resolved in the firstplace.
ive dealt with other companies for exchanges and they always offer an advanced replacment which meant that i give them vredit card details and if they dont recieve the item bak they take the money off.
i suggested that to them but that was a no go.
i realy dont know what to do as if i give them the wireless router ill be stuck without internet for over a week plus i have to pay £5 and even further as i said before this model of router has a habbit of failing so i could be stuck in a loop.
i would realy like to get this problem sorted any help is very much appreciated.
    many thanks
