I buy nice 'n' lean beef skirts from a local butcher for approx £3 a lb and they cut it up into smallish pieces for me. It's very tender when cooked and there's also some lovely meaty stock for the gravy. The cooked meat is very versatile. If you use it to make meat & potato pie then it goes a long way!#Life isn't about waiting for the storms to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain #We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us #If you focus on what you have left behind, you will never see what lies ahead - Gusteau/RatatouilleGC 2022: £0/£2,500 total spend0

I have researched the Casserole brand of stewed steak. This is an irish company who have emailed me to say that they have sold the canned meat section (including Casserole) to Princes. Therefore Casserole Stewed Steak is no more. What a pity !!!0
