haven passes

We are going to the haven site in weymouth in June, having payed for the caravan privately we will need to purchase the passes separately which will be around £80 pounds. I have just noticed people selling passes on eBay. Having never been to haven before i would like to know are these passes worth buying from eBay.

Im not sure but I seem to think they change the colour of cards each week, so me personally I wouldnt touch them.

Edit to add : also even if they dont change colours what if Haven find out that cards are being sold on ebay and the week before you go they change the format or something ? they are not gonna want people making money from passes that you would of had to buy from them.

    Hi,
We went to Rockley Park on a Sun weekend in May. The passes there allowed you to use the indoor swimming pool, go into the amusement arcade and the bar that had sky sports and where you could buy a meal. Also got you into the place where the evening entertainment takes place. There was also a Papa johns takeaway pizza in there. There was always someone at the door asking to see your passes. You did not need a pass to use the supermarket or the playparks, trampolines etc. You could also ring the pizza place and have a pizza delivered to your caravan if you didn't have the passes.

I suppose it depends what you want to do whilst there. We only used them once, to get breakfast in the bar on the day we left!

HTH - might be worth checking with Haven whether your site will be the same as Rockley park

    Heres a little tip.....;)

look up camping site @ your Haven site .....book the cheapest pitch you can find on your dates stating how many persons Adults / children ( basic pitches can start from £25 and it includes the passes in that price.)
The passes are worthwhile but £80 EACH! hmmmm........
Show them the booking paperwork at reception for the camping and they'll give you your passes etc.

    HTh regards

Oh and the £80.00 was for all the family not each thanks again.

blue daz just for future ref does the passes you get paying for the basic camping pitch last you a week/holiday lenth or just for the one night youve booked to camp?

Aiming to loose 56 pounds this year. Total to date 44.5 pounds 12.5 to go. Slimming World Rocks!
  • My parents own a caravan at Primrose Valley and when we arrange passes for customers they tend to change the colour and always have the dates printed on so that you can't use them again
