Suggestions for 4yr old birthday party - anglesey PLEASE
Hiya
My niece's 4 yr birthday coming up and my sister has been racking her brains what to do this year.(Mid April)
She was going to book the local community hall and hire a face painter etc, but two kids have already done that
She hasn't lived in the area that long so if anyone can suggest a place for a party that would entertain around 20 kids, I could pass on the ideas.
Already mentioned are Pili Palas and a bouncy castle party available at the local lesuire centre.
Any ideas appreciated

Sometimes sports centres do kids parties, what about the one in Llangefni
Whereabouts on Anglesey does she live, it might help if we knew?I haven't got one!0 -
She lives outside Llangefni but not really bothered where the party is, doesn't mind travelling as she's central of the island in Llanegfni isn't she?
Someone has suggested to her a lesuire centre party where there's a bouncy castle and a little room for sandwiches etc or eat at the cafe, I guess that would be the same in Llangefni as any other l.centre? My niece went to a little boy's party there a month or so back and kids had a right laugh!!;)0 -
Can't she have it at home, I think the home ones are the best as long as you have all the games/activities organised beforehand.
I think these special places are overrated and overpriced. Save some money and stay at home, there are great games that you can playI haven't got one!0 -
For my daughter's 4th party I hired a village hall for about a tenner and had a craft/messy time party. I set up four tables and at each one there was a craft activity. I got all the bits from Wilkinsons and Woolworths so it didn't cost much. The children did that for an hour. Then we had some food and then played some games with a sticker for the child who was out so they could continue playing and not have to sit down. We borrowed some toys from the playgroup held there so some children just played if they didn't want to stick etc. It occured to me that they would have been quite happy to play with a load of toys in the middle of the room and at 4 years old didn't yet need the structure of an older party.0

There is a Fun House in Bodffordd that does kids parties, sorry can't find it on the web, but there are leaflets around. Ball pools, slides, bouncy castles etc.
Or there is the Sea Zoo in Brynseincyn, Henblas or Caernarfon Fun Centre:j0 -
Thanks for that.
She was going to phone henblas for prices. NO WAY would she consider the playhouse place as she'd been there for a party before and the place was heaving!! Kids (from 1-12) were all over the place, you had 10 year old bashing into little ones and as there were so much kiddies, you couldn't keep an eye on your own kids. A little girl got stuck along the top somewhere and it took one of the staff nearly 5 mins to get to her. No one heard the little girl crying from all the noise and the mother couldn't see her through all the kids - total nightmare at weekends, you pay £8 -or is it £9- per head for a prty (inc food|)but you have loads of other kids dropping in too. They don't seem to know when to turn people away!!!;)0 -

I would go for Llangefni leisure centre then, I think 20 kids is too many to look after at Henblas, unless Mums are staying too, which would be quite expensive.
What about staying at home, haveing less kids, and hiring a magician? I think the local one is called mr. Bamboozeal (or somthing like that):j0 -
Thanks for all the suggestions, looks like it's going to be hiring a hall somewhere and maybe a face painter (if anyone knows of anyone local;) and idea of price.) Kids that age are easy to please aren't they? My sister appreciates your help.0
