hi, I am very new to this.
I need advice!!!!
I have an MBNA credit card with a £500 limit, I have always put the minimum or more on it each month. but heres the sticky point a few years back I tried to change the bill date as it was always due a week before before I got paid - thus making it hard for me to pay on time. They refused!!! So the balance snowballed to £750 as the charges sometimes mirrored the payment.
i recently read your article about reclaiming, so I thought I would give it a go. It turns out that over the last 6yrs I have been charged a Whooping £1980 in fees, a total of £2500 with interest at 8%.
I sent the first template off for a refund request and the reply I got was an offer of £706 which was £50 short of the total balance. I sent the second letter and after the 14 days I still have not recieved a reply. should I continue on to the third stage or give them more time? and does anyone think its worth going to court with this??
Where do I stand?? please help!!
