hi
if you give customer services a call they will email the office to see what is happening it may also be advisable to ask them if there is a redirection on your address they can tell you yes or no but cant give details due to the data protection act.cracker challenge silver: £610/£1010.00 :jOne debt vs 100 days: 1000.00/0.000 -

i would contact the office
right now RM are going through more 'savings'
if its like my office then walks will be being 'streamed' (an RM method of prioritising mail for delivery),cut(walk uncompleted) or maybe even failed!!
to give an example i got home today at 6.30pm
i started work at 4am...............................0 -
custardy, that's admirable, but i do presume you are getting paid for that? don't give them any extra time if they aren't going to pay you!!Kavanne

I think my postman is making savings by not looking at the address before putting it through the letter box. I'm frequently getting neighbours mail and sometimes my neighbours bringing my mail around.0

oh yes i get paid however its generally grudged
so manager A asks me to come in early to do nightshift work
thats the nightshift they did away with as we didnt need it
after that i do my normal shift on my newly enlarged walk which is now 900 calls plus extra driving duties
however they keyed in 5 minutes driving time to get to and from it
its takes 20 minutes plus each way
after that a manager will beg me (literally) to take out packets from duties that didnt complete that day
next day when i go in to sign for the overtime is get a full inquisition as to why im claiming
ah i could go on lol0 -
custardy, sounds pretty bad
But I am sure the paypacket is worth it in the end

Will the phrase "going postal" become more well known in the UK soon?0
-
well i could see it in a few offices
TBH it could never continue, you had posties paid for 8 hours and doing under 6
however we are now heading to the other end of the spectrum
most in my office are struggling to complete
tomorrow im being hauled in the office to be grilled as to why i havent completed my D2D items( unaddressed junk mail)
in the end something i could be sacked for.RM's rational is that regardless of me ensuring all mail /packages are cleared daily(by going over my time) i should rather stream that mail to ensure those D2D's are delivered0 -
Well I found out my post had been suspended because my dog bit the postman which apparently I already knew about....What dog?!?!?!? I dont have one so I enquired further and after an hours wait got someone who rang me too say it wasnt my street but the "close" version whereas im the "avenue"
I said surely the postman who got bit knew what street it happened in he left his job bless him "I hope he is ok" Well hopefull all sorted now they said I can either have my post delivered tomorrow or collect my self.
What made me nearly wet myself was He said on the phone "Your post has been suspended we posted out a letter to tell you"..... Which I assume is still waiting to be delivered
Im just glad my post is safe and none of its missing Thanks for the advice everyone xxxxx2010 challenge A.B.C.D.[STRIKE]E.[/STRIKE]F.G.H.I.J.[STRIKE]K[/STRIKE].L.M.N.O.P.Q.[STRIKE]R[/STRIKE].S.T.U.V.W.X.Y.Z
